1. CNE Points & Credits (most common request)

CNE points are awarded only after you have earned ALL the certificates in your language category — that is, after you complete every course listed under your Preferred Course Content Language, not just one or two. Finishing a single course does not credit points on its own. Once you hold all the certificates in the category, your points are set and then shared with your Nursing Council.

Points depend on your Nursing Council and require completing ALL courses in your category: Maharashtra Nursing Council = 10 points; Goa Nursing Council = 6 points. Other councils (e.g. TNAI) and 'Other' are currently not credited with CNE points through this portal. You must finish every course in your language category to qualify.

The 10 points are granted only when you have completed the FULL set of courses in your category and hold the final category certificate. If some courses in your category are still pending, the points will not be added yet. Open My Courses and complete the remaining courses in your language.

After you earn all certificates in your category, points are updated on our side in a periodic batch and then made available to your Nursing Council. The council credits them to your council profile on their side, so there can be a delay. Keep your certificates as proof. If points are still missing well after you have all certificates, contact us with your registered email, council, and registration number. [Confirm expected timeline before publishing.]

You must (a) have the correct Nursing Council saved on your profile (Maharashtra or Goa), (b) complete every required activity in every course of your language category, and (c) receive all the course certificates. Viewing content is not enough — each course must reach 'Completed'.

Points and the CNE listing update only once ALL courses in your category are complete and the periodic update has run. Confirm every course in your category shows 'Completed' in My Profile; if all are complete and the CNE section is still blank, contact us with your details so we can check your certificate records.

2. Opening Course Content (Course Player) (most common help request)

Course content opens in a pop-up player, so first allow pop-ups for open-amr.org and disable any pop-up blocker. Then refresh the page, use an updated browser (Chrome recommended) on a stable internet connection, and reopen the activity. If it still will not open, share the course and module name via the Help button so we can check it.

The next module usually unlocks only after the previous one is fully completed. Make sure the earlier module shows as complete, then reopen the course. If the earlier module is complete and the next one is still locked, contact us with your email and the course name.

Let the final slide load fully before closing the player — this records your completion. If it appears stuck, wait a few seconds, then close the pop-up and reopen the activity to confirm it is marked complete. Report the exact slide if it repeatedly freezes.

If a topic is locked after an attempt, contact us via the Help button with your registered email and the topic name, and we will reset it for you where the course rules allow.

This is usually a temporary loading issue. Refresh the page, clear your browser cache, and reopen the activity. If the symbol remains, send us the course and slide details through the Help button.

3. Login & Password

Passwords are case-sensitive. Make sure Caps Lock is off and there are no extra spaces. Log in with the email address you registered with. If it still fails, use 'Forgot password' to set a new one.

Use the exact email and password from registration. If you are unsure of the password, reset it using 'Forgot password'. Do not create a second account with the same email — the system allows only one account per email.

Check your Spam/Junk and Promotions folders and wait a few minutes. Make sure you entered the same email you registered with. If nothing arrives, contact us with your registered email and we will help reset it.

Confirm you are using your registered email, that your account is confirmed (check the confirmation email sent at sign-up), and reset the password if needed. If you still cannot get in, contact us so we can check your account status.

Your email already has an account, so registration is correctly blocked. Use 'Log in' with that email and reset the password if you have forgotten it, rather than registering again.

Your username is the email you registered with. If a password was not set or you did not receive it, use 'Forgot password' on the login page to create a new one. We never share passwords over email or phone for security reasons.

4. Registration & Account Creation

Ensure all required fields are filled: name, a valid email, a password of at least 8 characters, State, approximate clinic size, and — for nursing roles — your Nursing Council and registration number. Correct any field highlighted in red and submit again.

Please try again after refreshing the page, as this can be a temporary issue. If the error keeps appearing, note the time and contact us with a screenshot so we can investigate.

You have already registered with that email. Go to 'Log in' instead, or use 'Forgot password' to recover access. Each email can hold only one account.

Your password must be at least 8 characters long. Use a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols for better security.

Name, email, password, State, and approximate clinic size are always required. Nursing Council and registration number are required only for Nursing Supervisor, Nursing Staff, and Midwives (ANM) roles.

The CAPTCHA is case-sensitive. Click the refresh (↻) icon to load a new code and type exactly what is shown.

5. Enrolling & Starting a Course

When you register, you are automatically enrolled into all the courses that match your Preferred Course Content Language. If a course is not showing, open the Courses page, open the course, and use Enrol/Start on the course detail page. If it still will not enrol you, contact us with your registered email and the course name.

Courses are shown based on your Preferred Course Content Language. If that field is empty or set to a language with no courses, you may see none. Update the Preferred Course Content Language in My Profile to a supported language and your courses will appear on My Courses.

From My Courses, open the course and click the first module. Content opens in a pop-up player, so allow pop-ups for open-amr.org. Complete the modules in order to progress and to earn the certificate.

6. Nursing Council & Registration Number

Enter it as Roman numerals, a hyphen, then the number — for example II-40963 or III-40963. Do not add spaces.

Some longer registration numbers may not fit the standard validation. If your genuine number is rejected, contact us with your full registration number and council so we can record it correctly.

Enter a single letter, a hyphen, then a 3–4 digit number — for example A-1049.

It is mandatory only if your practice role is Nursing Supervisor, Nursing Staff, or Midwives (ANM). Other roles can leave it blank.

7. Courses, Completion & Assessment

You can review the course material and reattempt the assessment as allowed by the course rules. Your credit/certificate is issued once you meet the passing criteria. If reattempts are blocked, contact us with the course name.

Getting a certificate and having the course marked 'Completed' in your profile are recorded separately. If you hold the certificate but the course still shows incomplete, contact us with your email and the course name so we can reconcile the completion record.

If a specific slide will not load, refresh the page or reopen the activity, and try a different browser (latest Chrome recommended) with a stable internet connection. If the slide still will not open, contact us with the course name and slide number so we can check it.

Ask them to open the link in an updated browser, ensure they are logged in with their own account, and clear the browser cache if needed. If the link still fails, share the exact link and the error shown so we can assist.

Open the course and complete every required activity in order. The course is marked complete only after all required activities are finished; the completion status then appears in My Profile.

Check the course page for any activity not yet ticked as complete — often one required activity or the final summary is pending. Complete it, and the status will update.

8. Certificates

The certificate prints the first and last name saved on your profile. Update your name in My Profile exactly as you want it to appear, then reopen and redownload the certificate so it regenerates with the corrected name. If your final category certificate shows a different name from your individual course certificates, contact us with your registered email and the exact name to use, and we will correct it.

Certificates are issued only after the topic/course reaches 'Completed' status. Confirm the activity is 100% complete in My Profile; if it is complete but no certificate appears, contact us with your email and the topic name.

Your certificate becomes available once the course is fully completed. You can view and download it from My Profile under your completed courses.

Each course gives its own certificate when completed. The final category certificate — the one tied to your CNE points — is issued only after you have completed ALL courses in your language category and hold every course certificate. Finish the remaining courses in your category to unlock it.

Log in, go to My Profile, open the completed course, and use the download option for the certificate. If the download does not work, try a different browser and a stable connection.

9. Language

Course content is available in multiple languages — English, Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali, and Gujarati. Each language is a separate set of courses.

You are enrolled into the courses that match your 'Preferred Course Content Language'. To change language, update the Preferred Course Content Language field in your profile; you will then have access to the courses in that language. If you do not see the new language courses, contact us with your registered email.

The content follows the Preferred Course Content Language you chose at registration. Update that field in My Profile to the language you want, and complete the courses in that language category to earn your certificates and CNE points.

10. Technical & Access Issues

Refresh the page, use an updated browser (Chrome recommended), check your internet connection, and clear your browser cache. If the problem continues, use the Help button on the page so we receive the exact page details.

Use the Help button on the page — it captures the page you are on, so we can see the exact context. For general queries, use the Contact Us form.

We aim to respond within [X working days]. Please avoid submitting the same query multiple times, as duplicates can slow down responses.

11. Getting Started & Using the Site (general)

Click Register/Sign up, then fill in your name, email, a password (min. 8 characters), your State, practice role, and — for nursing roles — your Nursing Council and registration number. Submit the form and confirm your account from the email we send you.

Yes. The site is mobile-friendly and works in your phone's browser. Use the menu button at the top to open navigation. For the course player, allow pop-ups so content can open.

Go to My Profile and edit your details. Because your certificate uses your profile name, make sure your first and last name are spelled exactly as you want them to appear before downloading certificates.

Open your account/profile settings and use the change-password option. If you are locked out, use 'Forgot password' on the login page instead.

Your enrolled courses and completion status are shown on the My Courses page after you log in. Certificates for completed courses appear in My Profile.

Choose 'Other' in the practice role dropdown and type your role in the field provided. Nursing Council details are only required for Nursing Supervisor, Nursing Staff, and Midwives (ANM).

Select your state of practice from the India states dropdown during registration. You can update it later in My Profile if it changes.

No. Your progress is saved as you complete activities, so you can log back in and continue where you left off. Make sure each activity is fully completed before closing it.

Both are linked in the site footer — see the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy pages for how your data is used and the rules for using the platform.

Use the Logout option in the top menu / profile menu. On mobile, open the menu button first.

Use the Help button on the page you are on (it sends us the page details), or the Contact Us form for general queries. Include your registered email so we can find your account.
